PROFILE OF Chief Afolabi Igbaroola, FCA, FCTI, CFAN, FCIRM.

Afolabi Igbaroola was born in Ilesa Osun State, He attended Ilesa Grammar School Ilesa from 1973 to 1978. He proceeded to Osogbo Grammar School Osogbo for his Higher School Certificate (HSC), between 1979 and 1981 where he came out with flying colours. For his higher education, he attended the University of Lagos where he graduated in 1985 with Bachelors Degree in Accounting. He completed the qualifying Examinations of the Institute of Chartered Accountants of Nigeria (ICAN) in 1986 and he was subsequently admitted an Associate Member of the Institute immediately. He was later admitted Fellow of the Institute in the year 1993 (FCA). He is also a Fellow of the Chartered Institute of Taxation (FCTI), Fellow of the Chartered Institute of Records and Management of Nigeria(FCRIM), He is also a Certified Forensic Accountant of Nigeria (CFAN). He worked with Messrs Bola Sadipe and Company (Chartered Accountants) from 1983 up to 1990. He left as a Partner in the Firm to commence his own practice in December 1990. He is the Principal Partner of the Firm “Afolabi Igbaroola and Company-Chartered Accountants since January 1991. He has also been serving Ijesaland in several capacities such as Chairman Iwude Ijesa Planning Committee, Member Ijesa Forum, member-Ijesa Day Planning Committee of 1993 and in the year 2005 he was appointed by the Owa Obokun Adimula of Ijesaland, Oba (Dr) Adekunle Aromolaran II as the Treasurer and Trustee for Ijesaland. He is the Treasurer of Owa Obokun 2020 Palace Construction Committee and also Treasurer of 2021 Ijesa Health is Wealth Project. He was also a President of the Rotary Club of Ilesa. He is also the Treasurer of Ijesa Development Council, Treasurer Roots Club of Ijesa Land. He was the convener of SAWE AKINOLA @ 80. He is also the Treasurer of ijesa Community Development Assembly (ICDA). At the Religious level, he is the Treasurer of Ilesa South West Anglican Communion and the Majeobaje Ijo of the Cathedral Church of Holy Trinity, Omofe, Ilesa. Chief Afolabi Igbaroola is married to Mrs Olubunmi Igbaroola (Nee Odeyemi-Abugan) and the marriage is blessed with God fearing children and grand children.
